The final 16 of this year’s Racing Post/SIS Betting Shop Manager of the Year have been announced, and we are thrilled to share that three of our wonderful colleagues have been shortlisted!
First held in 1988, the Betting Shop Manager of the Year is the most prestigious award in retail betting. The competition highlights and celebrates the managers who go above and beyond to deliver excellence in their shops.
The William Hill colleagues through to the next stage of this year’s competition are as follows:
- Tracey Mooney, William Hill, Prestwick
- Victoria Nichols, William Hill, Newmarket
- Peter Wilde, William Hill, Caernarfon;
The managers through to this stage of the competition received a mystery shopper visit to assess their shop environment and the customer experience. The 16 shortlisted nominees will spend the day at Kempton Park Racecourse on October 8, when they will meet the judges for the first time.
After this, eight finalists will be invited to attend a final selection session in London, which will involve a panel session with the judges the day before the final.
To be shortlisted to any stage within this competition is brilliant recognition of the hard work that goes into managing a shop and ensuring its success. Huge congratulations to all the final 16, but especially to our wonderful William Hill colleagues!
