William Hill Ireland takes over Punchestown

The Punchestown Festival is one of the major highlights of the Irish sporting calendar.

The five-day National Hunt Festival is widely considered the "Irish Cheltenham" and is the premier meeting of the Irish National Hunt season.

The opening day of the festival is one for the real racing fans with three brilliant Grade 1 contests featuring our very own William Hill Champion Chase. William Hill Ireland plan to disrupt the festival with our industry leading Money Back All Losers promotion on the opening race every day of the festival.

Frank Bijman, Commercial Manager for William Hill Ireland tells us: "This competitor beating offer is real sign of our intent in the Irish market, which follows up a suite of industry leading money back offers including our Money Back All Losers promotions on the UK Grand National, Irish Grand National and the 2022 Cheltenham Festival. All of which have been a huge hit with our Irish base."

The supporting cast to these industry leading offers for the festival include ticket giveaways for our Irish base, enhanced sign up offers including a completely free bet for all new customers, on course activations and our racing ambassador and National Hunt legend Sir AP McCoy, who will be on the ground representing William Hill and our ambition in Ireland.

Michael Sheehan, Director of Marketing Strategy and Planning says: "The Festival is known as the ‘Grand Finale’ of the jump season where Irish Champion Owner, Trainer and Jockey are crowned. Both sides of the Irish sea converge on the Kildare venue to settle scores and confirm reputations and we are delighted to be part of that rivalry. The quality of racing is unrivalled with a total of 12 Grade 1 contests taking place and William Hill are front and centre as title sponsors on Day On, one of the most competitive days of the festival."
